Taking the most advantage of this, we walk through the village discovering hidden stupas, kalachakra sites and other cultural beauties that lay hidden from the tourist eyes. Post Lamayuru we head to Kargil for the night.
While you are in this part of the country, what better way than saluting your Army from the point that matters the most. First, post breakfast, we spend the morning exploring a hidden Aryan Village. Today we spend the whole day in the valley, visiting Golden Imambaras, the towering Nun-Kun peaks, a ruined fort with a stunning view, a quiet river and the most wonderful souls ever - before heading back to Kargil for the night. This journey is best covered on cycles and that's what we hop onto today!
