OUR STORY
We started Routed when we were 23. At that age, most of our friends were either on their way to mint money, or were planning the next big party. Here we were, on the other hand, with all that we had earned being pushed into starting something that we genuinely cared about - experience driven, impactful, offbeat travel. Everyone warned us that this was a BIG risk. Everyone told us to go back and do our "jobs" but the entrepreneur bug had done the deed, and just like that, after months of epiphanies and research, Routed was born. The hustle has been real and quite intense, but it has also been the most fun and fulfilling years of our lives and we would not have had it any other way!
We’ve had our fair share of apprehensions too. But our confidence in our work is reinstated each time we see people having their moments of connection with the mountains (or themselves!) or when life long friendships blossom out of a week long trip, when people fall in love, and when people learn things that change them in the most beautiful ways. It is reinstated when instead of dismissing us as "too young", people actually give us a chance based on the hard work they see us put in, when people actually "experience" instead of just mindlessly tick places off their bucket list.
This is our journey - full of love and life!

I went with Routed to Meghalay.It was an amazing experience. I never felt out of the place being the oldest of the group, because of Surabhi and Suhas. I couldn't have completed the Double Decker live bridge trek without the support and encouragement of Surabhi. She is amazing.. her love for nature and her knowledge of locals makes her trips extraordinary and very different from so many commercial travel companies! Looking forward for more trips with #routed

It was after almost after 4 years that I decided to take vacation and ended up in Sikkim via Routed with Surabhi leading the trip. I was travelling to Sikkim for the first time. Through the well planned and niche itenary, we really saw the most beautiful parts. There was also a bonus isolated serene lake which we found in between travelling to places. Would definitely recommend Routed for any travel plans, especially if you like a fun surprise or two in between your travel. Can't wait to travel again with you guys! 💛

Surabhi and Suhas are the most amazingly impressive people you'd come across when it comes to travel planning. They're so methodical, meticulous and efficient in their approaches. What adds more value to their services, is that you can totally feel the passion for travel ooze out of them! They personally made sure, that at each destination, we were comfortable, either by being there themselves, or by connecting us to people they know, or just even through their frequent friendly conversations on phone! We had the most amazing itinerary tailor-made for us - my friends from UK and me, and we loved how everything was organised so impeccably for us, that it seemed seamlessly effortless for us to move across 8 destinations all the way from the South (Bangalore) to the North (McLeodganj). They are so efficient in even accommodating major last minute changes, and emergency plan changes, and I can truly say they're the masters of eliminating the stress of booking/planning out of one's travel experience. I took my first ever trip without my family and with a friend to Spiti with Routed. It's the most amazing place I have visited till date. If you want to explore Himachal beyond the conventional 'Shimla-Kullu-Manali', then you have to visit Spiti with Routed. They have well planned intineraries and the right number of days for your vacation. Even though we couldn't experience home stays due to restrictive weather, the hotel stays were very good, even the ones that were arranged at last minute. And last but not the least Suhas is an amazing tour leader.

Took a trip to Spiti Valley Aug'19 with Routed. Beauty of Spiti cannot be expressed, it needs to be experienced. This was my first trip to Himachal. Right from Chandigarh, Manali to Spiti, i thoroughly enjoyed. No mobile connectivity, a bonus for me. This was my first trip with Routed and I found them very organized and the service excellent. If you are looking for off beaten paths you must travel with Surabhi the tour leader. Of course you need to be fit! Terrain is unpredictable in this part …. Thanks to the lovely person Padma who drove us safely and to a great group of girls who made the journey so lively. Thank you Surabhi for all the love and care!! The homestays were a totally different experience for me and I will cherish it. Looking forward to few more trips with Routed! Cheers!
