We start our trip from Chennai airport at 10:00 AM this morning. For help with the ideal flight tickets from your city to Chennai and back, get in touch with us separately for the same. Once you meet us, we head straight to Covelong, the surfing capital of Tamil Nadu. The idyllic beach town of Covelong has the most perfect waves, no wonder so many surfers have made it their home. We will be surfing here today and learning the basics of this beautiful sport. Once done with this, head to Mahabalipuram for lunch and then sightseeing. Mahabalipuram with its rich Pallavan heritage is a temple town. Its architecture and sandy streets are perfect to set out on a little walking tour. Join us on the heritage walk across centuries of history, culture and folklores. We will be visiting the famous Mahabalipuram Shore temple, Pandava Caves, Krishna's butterball among various other unique monuments. Head to Pondicherry tonight and check into our cute boutique hotel. Dinner tonight can be either in the hotel / cafe hopping - depending on what everyone is in for. Overnight in Pondicherry!

After a scrumptious breakfast this morning, we head to Auroville - A unique township set up started by Sri Aurobindo, a philosopher, poet and a leader from the Indian Independence struggle. Auroville is truly a mesmerizing experience with its dense forests, solar kitchens, meditation centres etc. Cycling through Auroville is bound to make you feel that inward connection and some kickass photo-ops too! We will also be going to a pottery studio here today and perhaps trying our hands at the art. Once done with lunch in Auroville, head to Auro Beach for some much needed beach time and evening, we go cycling around the French town of Pondicherry. We will be riding through the yellow houses and buildings and discovering the city through its colonial architecture. From the basilica to the war memorial and also an art centre, we are seeing it all. Sunset by the beach along with a nice beach side dinner! Overnight in Pondicherry

Head out to the visit the Pichavaram mangroves today. The Pichavaram mangroves are some of the most fantastic preserved mangroves in the country and the biggest one in Tamil Nadu. During our dates, it is a perfect time to watch various migratory birds in these dense groves. We will be rowing our boats deep into the backwaters to observe nature's bliss. After this visit, head for lunch to Chidambaram. We will be visiting the Chidambaram temple today too, famous for the Golden Nataraja Shiva and its association to the famed Bharatanatyam dance! We are visiting the temple for its stellar architecture and legacy - a must visit when in the region. We return to Pondicherry after this visit. Evenings and sunset by the beach. Tonight is the last night of the trip and undoubtedly there will be a partaaaayyy!!!
