Our journey starts at Siliguri. Once we meet you at Siliguri, we drive down to Gangtok, our first destination on the itinerary. We settle into our comfy hotels and chill this evening, exploring the quaint town, going out on food trails in the bustling markets etc. Chill Day!

Our journey into the cold starts today as we drive to the China Border at Nathula Pass. Hoisted high at 14,140 ft above sea level, this one is an offshoot of the ancient Silk Road. We also visit the freezing Tsomgo lake (Changu Lake) at 12,313 ft above sea level and visit the Baba Mandir View Points today.

Post breakfast, we head out to Yuksom. On the way, we will checkout Temi Tarku Tea gardens and Ravangla Buddha Park. After this, we reach Yuksom, check into our homestay and rest.

The morning at Yuksom starts with birdsongs.. While in Yuksom, we also visit the Kathok monastery, a pristine silent lake, an ancient Coronation throne garden etc. This evening, if time permits, we head to the Khecheopalri lake, a lake revered by the local Buddhists and considered a deity.. The day ends back at our homestay with a little bonfire being lit, some stories being shared, lots of good food and great music!

After breakfast this morning, we head out to Pelling. A short drive takes us to this cute little town that overlooks the mighty Kanchendzonga in all its beauty. Once you reach Pelling, head to the Sangha Choling monastery and witness a towering statue of Cherenzig (Wisdom Buddha). After this, we head to Pemayangtse monastery, the second oldest monastic school in the region. If we are on time, we can catch the prayers here today too which is a unique experience!

Wake up to the sweet fragrance of the Himalayas and as you step out, you'd see the Kanchenjunga right in front of you, in full glory. Post breakfast, check out and head to the airport at Bagdogra. Trip ends!
