Land in Bali today and get picked up from the airport by our tour leader. Most of the flights land in Bali in the afternoons - evenings. This is ideal since today is meant to be chill anyways. Once you meet our tour leader outside the airport - head straight to our accommodation in Western Bali. We will be staying at a quaint beach town today and just as expected, this evening will be all about breaking the ice, chilling, enjoying some beach waves, good food etc. After all, it would have been a long journey to reach here. Relaxed day today and overnight in the beach town of Seminyak!

We start our day with a scrumptious breakfast and head out to explore some temples today. We visit the submerged temple of Tanah Lot and the monkey temple of Uluwatu today. Tanah Lot is a 16th CE temple that can only be accessed during low tides, in High tides the pathway remains submerged underwater. After this unique experience and lunch, we head to Uluwatu - popularly known as the monkey temple. Here we will witness the mindblowing kechak fire dance for sunset - trust us, it is an experience you will never forget.

Today after breakfast, we set sail to Gili islands. We are traveling by a fast boat today and while its called the fast boat, it does take a while to get to Gili islands. So after 2.5-3 hours you pull into the jetty at Gili Air, our home for the next 2 nights! This island is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT to grab sunsets/sunrises, go scuba diving or snorkeling, explore on foot / cycle, get the awesomest massages, chill and eat great food.

Today after breakfast, we head out to do what these islands are best known for - underwater life. From snorkeling amidst giant 100 year old turtles to finding Nemo fish colonies, swimming amidst underwater sculptures to exploring the pristine, deep, blue sea - we are doing it all. Evening is free to relax!

We will check out after breakfast today and walk to the harbour. We are catching a boat back to main Bali island today. Once we reach Bali, we meet our car and drive straight to the crux of this bountiful wonderland - UBUD! Once we reach Ubud, we relax in our lovely hotel by the rice fields. Enjoy the swimming pool, hit the markets for dinner and shop till you drop - relaxed evening in Ubud.

One of the best things about Bali is to check out sunrise from the second highest peak in the island - Mt. Batur. The hike is a good 2-3 hour of moderate incline and can be done by anyone with a basic level of fitness. We start in the wee hours of the morning, drive to the base and then proceed to hike up. Enjoy the sunrise here and head down. We will be visiting the Hot springs here today so make sure to carry your swimwear. Once done with the hotsprings and a scrumptious lunch, we head to see the coffee plantations, Bali swings, rice terraces, waterfalls etc. It is a packed day with a lot to do and trust us, this is going to be super rewarding.

We will be exploring the countryside today. A short drive out of Ubud takes us to some breathtaking scenaries - From the Gates of Heaven (Bali's poster picture!) to tiny, sleepy hamlets, rolling hills laden with rice fields and cute cafes spotting it in merry intervals - Bali's hinterland is truly unique and often missed by the hurried tourist.

Post breakfast, we head to the Airport. Any small pending sightseeing left in Ubud will be done today enroute. Since most of the flights out of Bali are between afternoon and evening, please opt to take the later ones out in any cost, so that this day is not rushed for the others too.
