We meet at Guwahati today at 10:00 am and head to Shillong. Our journey to Shillong will take a whole 3 hours and on the way, we will be stopping over at the vast Umiam lake for boating.  Once we reach Shillong, we settle into our guesthouse and chill for a bit before leaving to explore Shillong on foot. For the evening, we head to Laitumkhra for its cafe culture, chill vibes and vibrant churches. Today we will visit the Don Bosco tribal museum and Laitumkhrah Cathedral too.

After a sumptuous breakfast, we head to the Sacred Groves in Mawphlang. From here, we head to Cherrapunjee. We will stop over for lunch enroute. Before we reach the main town, we visit a limestone cave with formations that date back millions of years, the tallest plunge waterfall in Asia at Nohkalikai

This morning, we pack some breakfast and head to Tyrna. From here we begin our descent to the double decker root bridge. The double decker root bridge is about 3500 steps below Tryna and nestled within a village called Nongriat. Once we are at the double decker root bridge, we rest for a while and after photo-ops and steaming hot chai, we head up to witness the rainbow waterfalls (If energy levels permit). This day ends with us driving back to our rooms for some much needed rest.

We start our day out after breakfast. We are heading to see the Umngot river at Dawki today. If you have ever seen the poster picture of Meghalaya it would have been one with a crystal, green river and a boat on it. That my friend is the sight at Dawki. Bordering Bangladesh, this river is ideal to swim (only if you know very well how to), chill by or even simply take a boat ride across. If you feel adventurous, you can also cliff dive here! From here, we head to Mawlynnong for lunch. Now Mawlynnong is Asia's cleanest village and once you are there, you will easily know why. We settle down for lunch at Mawlynnong. After lunch, we take a short walk across the village. Explore its bylanes, , balancing rock, a century old Presbyterian church, single root bridge, its hidden pools. Back to Shillong for the night.

Explore Shillong today - Post breakfast, we head out towards Shillong. Start the day with the Laitlum canyons. This vast stretch of rolling hills is bound to mesmerize you with its barren, stark nothingness. From here we visit the highest peak in Meghalaya, the Shillong Peak. Today we will also be exploring the museums, markets, Police bazaar, gardens and bylanes of Shillong.

Post breakfast, we check out of our hotels and head to Guwahati for our flights / trains back home. Tour ends.
