Land in Srinagar. Once we meet in Srinagar, we head straight to Pahalgam. Enroute we will be visiting the Saffron fields in Pampore and it is also your chance to buy saffron, dry fruits etc. from the source if you'd like - afterall Kashmir is famous for its produce! From here we visit the ancient temple ruins at Awantipora and learn all about Kashmir's history. We will also visit the famous Bat Factory here today and then onwards for lunch to Apple valley. After lunch, head into Pahalgam. We check into our cute home in the hills and later for sunset, step down to the river banks. Sunset by the Lidder river today. Overnight in Pahalgam hotel!

We have the whole day to ourselves today to explore Pahalgam. We head out to explore Chandanwari snow slopes, and the green valleys of Aru and Betaab today. Once we reach the top, spend time in these green verdant pastures, enjoying the mountains all around you. Back to your hotel in Pahalgam.

We head back to Srinagar after a scrumptious breakfast. Our first stop today will be the Shankaracharya temple. Perched atop a hill, this 8th CE structure is a historic and spiritual icon for the city (and also a brilliant view point from where you can see the whole of Srinagar). After lunch today, we visit the famous Mughal Gardens here in Srinagar. Kashmir's love for well manicured gardens is a whole different level and only when you are here can you truly understand the burst of emotions this amount of beauty will bring to you! As we can simply put it - get ready to be WOW'D!!!

Before sunrise this morning, we set out for a boating tour on the Dal Lake - through the Vegetable markets. The floating vegetable markets of the Dal are quite an interesting thing to observe. Still thriving on its barter system, this early morning hours are filled with robust chatter, laughter, kehwas, blooming lotus and the freshest of produce being sold/brought. It is truly a wonderful experience and quite unique to the region. We return to our houseboat for breakfast. After breakfast, head to Doodhpatri. Back to Srinagar for the night.

We head to Sonamarg today after breakfast. Enroute, we check out the Hazratbal Dargah - a white marble mosque revered all over the world as it is said to have the Moi-E-Muqqaddas ie. Hair Relic of the prophet. Sonamarg we are visiting for the Thajiwas glacier - a formidable force of beauty! We hike up the 6 km stretch to witness what we would have once drawn as kids - a verdant green landscape, with gushing river flowing and snow clad peaks all around. In Sonamarg, your this childhood imagery becomes a reality. We will also be spending time by the Indus river that flows here. Truly, Kashmir is Jannat and you are bound to feel the same here. After immersing in this beauty, we head back to Srinagar for the night. Overnight in Srinagar hotel!

Post breakfast, we head to the Airport. Trip ends!
