We meet in Gorakhpur today. From here it takes about 3 hours to cross over the border and reach Lumbini. We will be finishing our immigration process today at the border itself before we move inwards. Once done with the immigration we head to Lumbini hotel. Check into the hotel and rest for a bit. Lunch can be a traditional Thakali thali today. And after enjoying this scrumptious goodness, we head out to the Maya Devi temple - the Birth Place of the Buddha. One of the most pious places of Spirituality in the world, this temple greets us with a simple elegance. After a meditative time here, we head out to explore Lumbini by foot. We visit the Japanese temple, World Peace Pagoda etc. today in Lumbini before heading back to the hotel.

After scrumptious breakfast today, we start for Pokhara. An open road beckons as you leave Lumbini behind, winding through lush valleys and charming villages towards the lakeside paradise of Pokhara. It is a long journey today so be mentally prepped for the same. We will be traveling in a comfortable coaster bus and our journey is fairly smooth, interspersed with breaks for lunch, washrooms etc. As we near Pokhara the gigantic Machhapuchhre and Annapurna ranges come out from behind the clouds. Upon arrival, the serene Phewa Lake invites you to unwind—perhaps with a cup of steaming chai by the water’s edge, as the first stars begin to pierce the twilight sky.

We start our morning quite early today as we ascend to Sarangkot. From here you can see the beautiful Himalayan peaks ignite in a blaze of pink and gold as the sun rises. There is nothing more precious than seeing the sun rise over some of the tallest mountains in the world. After this strange, yet surreal feeling we head back to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. We freshen up post breakfast and head out for our sightseeing here in Pokhara. On our agenda today we have the Phewa Lake, the Tal Barahi temple, the World Peace Pagoda, gigantic Shiva statue from where you can also see the birds eye view of the city, the old Pokhara market for its spices, handicrafts etc. Today for lunch, we chill at the local restaurants gorging on Nepali delicacies like Jhol Momos and Thali sets / Dhido (buckwheat sets). We snack on sel rotis and other street food as we walk around the markets and dinner will be at some cute cafe / eatery.

After breakfast today, we leave the mountains behind. As we head towards Chitwan, the landscape transforms into the lush, emerald jungles. It's a long journey today - takes about 5-6 hours but it will be comfortable and interspersed with sufficient breaks. We start early so we can make the most of the day today. Lunch will be enroute. Once we reach the robust Tharu village which houses our resort, we check in, rest for a bit and then head out to explore the village on foot. We check out the traditional architecture and their houses, perhaps even visit the museum and explore here. One of the most immersive cultural experiences in Nepal is this tiny village in the middle of the forest. Tonight, if weather and conditions permit, we will go to catch a glimpse of the Tharu traditional dance and music.

The crack of dawn brings adventure - an exhilarating jeep safari through Chitwan’s wilderness. Chitwan National Park is known for its iconic One Horned Rhinos, Larger than life Elephants, variety of migratory birds and indigenous species too, deers, wild animals like bears, jackals, foxes etc. On rare sightings, we have also enjoyed the sounds and sights of the Royal Tiger! Once done with this safari, we return to our resort here for breakfast and head out to Kathmandu today. This journey takes about 6-7 hours but is interspersed with sufficient breaks and meals. Once we reach Kathmandu, we check into our hotel and then free time today to explore as per your will. You can go shopping today too as your hotel is very close to the famous Thamel market.

After breakfast today, we head out to explore Kathmandu. Kathmandu, Nepal's capital city has a rich tapestry of ancient wonders and vibrant life. We visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and the Boudhanath Stupa before heading into the red sandstone wonders of Durbar square. Here as we embark on a heritage walk - Kathmandu unfolds before you. You witness the sacred hums with murmured prayers around the esoteric powerful diety Kaal Bhairav, while the living goddess Kumari watches silently from her palace here. Museums, shops, craftsmen all a beacon of Nepal's rich heritage! If time permits, we also check out the Patan Durbar Square. As the sun sets, Thamel’s markets call us one last time, offering treasures to carry home - So shop till you drop! Dinner tonight better be grand, after all it is your last night here with us!

After breakfast today, its time to bid adieu. As you’re whisked to the airport, the Himalayas bid you a silent goodbye, promising that Nepal’s magic will linger long after you’ve gone.
